Life is a river

I've learnt today something very important. Life is like a river that we all sail sitting in our own boats, and this river floats us downstream. It's the same for all of us. And you have a choice: to struggle a lot and try to paddle against the stream, to deviate from the course, and to disturb the course of many others who go quietly, to get them to slam you, to get you slammed into the shore, only to finally get tired, and frustrated, for in the end to be pushed in that direction it was originally meant for you. And you get to your destination tired, frustrated and angry that you did not have patience all the time enjoying the road as you should have.

The answer would be to let yourself get carried away, to see how your way is grandiosely intertwined with that of many walking on the same river, together contributing to a great design that you can not see unless you have a huge patience and eyes wide open, and of course, clear mind. Mind is represented by the  clear water around you, that if you fight it you will only get it more troubled or might be clear as a mirror if you don't struggle at all.

Today I decided to pull my paddles into the boat , and to enjoy the scenery as much as I can, eventually, from time to time, do some rowing to join as many other boats, with which to enjoy; and change the fear of the unknown, of what might happen, with power and patience that I can endure waves created by others, understanding that each wave does nothing but to strengthen my skills to navigate this river.
